Gabe Kennedy is an acclaimed chef and entrepreneur. The son of an acupuncturist, herbalist and chiropractor, he is passionate about the power of food as a tool for health and regeneration. He co-founded Plant People, a natural health food company and is the Chef Partner of Checker Hall Restaurant.
Named to Forbes 30 under 30 in 2020, Gabe has shaped menus and cooked his way around the globe with a mission to promote a more communal, green and healthy world.
He was an executive chef at Bon Appetite Magazine and appeared on HBO’s Selena and Chef, Chopped and won Anthony Bourdain’s competition show the Taste. He’s partnered with brands including GQ, Lululemon, Nespresso, Alaska seafood, Taiwan tourism, Tumi, the Botanist gin and Auberge resorts.
Gabe is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and Cornell University, Hotel School.
